Bethel Assistant Director/Life Coach
Lisa’s story began in Tacoma, WA in 1952. She was part of a military family and her dad was stationed at Fort Lewis at the time. She enjoyed home life with her three older siblings (all sisters), a well-defined church life and the wonderful world of school. Lisa knew by the time she was in the 3rd grade she was going to be a teacher and that never changed for her. Throughout Lisa’s elementary, middle school, high school and post-secondary schooling, it was a wonderful time for her. After 40 years (this year), Lisa looks back with absolutely no regrets. She’s so grateful to God that He was with her on her continuous educational journey. What Lisa enjoys most about working at the Academy is seeing young people who have made poor decisions turn themselves around and allow staff to support them as they complete what they initially started.
