Favorite subject in school: English- I have always been an avid reader as well as a creative writer. As a child, I would read under my bed with a flashlight in order to finish a book.
Favorite historical movie: Tuskegee Airmen because it represents the epitome of perseverance.
Favorite food: Thai – specifically Pad See Ew
Favorite non-fictional book: I am Malala by Malala Yousafzai – it depicts the extremes that one would go through in order to receive an education. It also depicts the theme of education empowerment – education allows one to find their power through the gift of knowledge and learning.
Favorite or most significant year in school and why: My graduation year, simply because it was the ending of the foundational years and the beginning of the next phase in my life – I simply love “new beginnings.”
